Kershaw's new Nakamura knife takes advantage of metal layering technology to produce an incredibly beautiful bolster and incredibly hard blade. The bolster features 19 layers of steel and vari-colored copper (10 layers - SU410 stainless-steel, 5 layers - copper, 4 layers - brass), expertly worked so that the colors are exposed in intricate patterns. The blade features a core of VG-10 "super steel" layered with 420J2 stainless steel for good looks and high performance. The blade of this Kershaw Knife has dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handle is exotic quince wood. It all combines in a handsome knife you'll be proud to carry.
