Kershaw composite blades fuse two different metals together, enabling them to use each metal where it will be most effective. They use ultra-premium metals, like Bohler M390 or Uddeholm EL-Max, on the cutting edge and tougher metals, on the spine. It is the best of both worlds: steel with extremely high wear resistance and sharpenability on the edge, combined with tough, durable, cost effective steel on the spine.
The new Speedform by Kershaw is constructed of a composite Uddeholm El-Max, Crucible CPM-D2 steels and CNC machined 6AL 4V Titanium with a frame lock and pocket clip for ease of carry. |
