About Smith and Wesson
Smith & Wesson is a grand old name in American handgun manufacturing history. From the Schofields of the 19th century to the lightweight scandium and titanium revolvers of the 21st century, Smith and Wesson has done it all in the area of fine handguns. You can get the name on a knife as well since the name has been licensed by Taylor Cutlery of Tennessee for use in making and marketing knives. The cutlery products have a law enforcement bent which one would expect from name so closely associated with law enforcement. Knives such as the S.W.A.T and HRT series or the 911 make the heritage of these knives clear indeed. The line includes everything from a small folder to a large bowie knife with an interesting mix of designs and products for law enforcement or general civilian use. High value knives with a great name.
